Announcements/Business:

  • The Salvation Army bell ringing Sign up Genius is available. Besides King Soopers, Moore Lumber in Pine Junction is a site that will only be on Saturdays. Contact Angela if you need “guidance”. The computer is Angela’s best friend.

  • We will not meet December 22 and 29.

  • How might we do the “White Elephant” gift exchange? More info to come.

  • Lesley has been looking into how the Club can do a Rotary Blood Donation Day. Two possible days: December 5 and 12. There is a site at Vitalant 5066 S. Wadsworth Blvd (Bellview and Wadsworth) She will send a link to sign up. Be sure to wear your green Rotary shirt.

  • SANTA-CAUSE!!!! The Rotary non-social for tree-cutting will be Sunday December 6 at Bambi’s property. There will be a sign up genius for 2 hour increments to promote social distancing. There will not be food/beverage provided---bring your own. Suzanne suggested that we could cut trees for families in need: she has reached out to Boys and Girls Club of the High Rockies. There are families in need for Christmas. We could cut trees for the several families at BGC. We could use money donated to purchase what the families might need for the holidays. Suzanne will reach out to BGC to find out what families may need so we can focus our support. Lee will be posting a link for donations for “Santa-Cause” for this fund-raiser

  • The Mask-querade fund-raiser has brought in $1443. There are over 500 masks on the website for purchase at Coniferfest.com. Please order your masks and send the link to friends and family.

  • Rotary Youth Exchange up-date: Diana needs two Rotarians to do interviews of the two young women who applied last year who still wish to participate. She will set up a zoom meeting with the girls and families. There is a guide for the questions to ask. Contact Diana to join her. (Dean and Lesley have volunteered).

  • How is it that it seems only to snow on Tuesday mornings. Ed
