Program:  Hypnotherapy
Tracy Gray, Science Professor at Red Rocks Community College

Tracy Gray provided an excellent presentation on Hypnotherapy and its beneficial uses.  She started by explaining the power of the sub-conscious mind. The conscious mind can only manage 7 pieces of information at a time whereas the sub-conscious mind can handle 80,000 thousand bits every moment!

Hypnosis is focus, concentration, imagination.  Tracy led us through experiences that demonstrated these three functions.  Hypnosis is NOT something someone does to you, it must be undertaken voluntarily and the sub-conscious responds.

Hypnosis can be a very powerful tool for personal use.  For example, setting your intentions and wishes for the next day every night before sleeping.  The sub-conscious will guide your day.

This was a very interesting program - informative fun!
